Livingston Food Resource Center (LFRC) Food Distribution Plan

The Livingston Food Resource Center is prepared to provide nutritious food to all Livingston and Park County residents who need emergency food support while we deal with the COVID-19 outbreak. Special efforts will address the immediate needs of our most “at-risk” citizens, the elderly and children. Our method of distribution has changed to minimize social contact and the spread of the virus. Until the situation has passed, all food will be delivered or picked up “curbside” at the LFRC, located at 202 S. 2nd St.

Anyone in need of food is invited to pick up pre-assembled food bags at the LFRC on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Pick-up will be accomplished in the LFRC parking lot so that Food Pantry clients will not be required to leave their vehicles and enter the building.  Volunteers will bring the food bags out and place them in the client’s vehicle.

Anyone who is not able to pick up food bags at the LFRC can sign up for food bag delivery to their residence one time per week.  To set up home delivery, please call the LFRC at 222-5335 or use the online registration option offered on this website.

For seniors, the LFRC’s Pantry Supper Club program provides dinner meals to anyone over the age of 60 who is not able, for any reason, to shop or prepare meals for themselves. Each week, five nutritious meals will be delivered; the meals are frozen and can be easily heated in a microwave oven.

To ensure that all school children and their families have access to nutritious food during this period, the LFRC will be distributing special food bags that can be picked up at the Livingston Food Resource Center.  No preregistration is required. The pickup time for family/children food bags will be each Friday, between 1:30 pm and 5:30 pm. Pick-up will be accomplished in the LFRC parking lot, so there is no need for recipients to leave their vehicles.

If you have questions or concerns, please call the LFRC at 222-5335 or click here to visit their website.
